Trent Snyder returns to the site of his two Feature Wins that led to the 2007 ASALMS North Title!

Ironton, Minnesota (Wednesday, July 2, 2008): Defending ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Champion, Trent Snyder has had Saturday, July 5, 2008 circles on his calendar over and over again and with a permanent marker!

That's because the reigning North Champion is heading back to the site of his Two ASALMS Northern Division Feature Wins in 2007 which led him to the Championship; I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Missouri.

The wicked fast high-banks located East of Kansas City serves as hosts for what is now the fourth race of the 2008 racing season in the ASALMS North, the extended distance Light Up The Night 150!

Coming into the 150-lap Feature, Snyder is seventh in the chase for the 2008 ASALMS Northern Division title, only 15 points out of the Top Five and he knows that he has his work cut out for him in his efforts to defend his crown.

"I'm really excited for I-70. I've been waiting all year for this race, and hopefully we can have a similar result to last year!" Snyder remarked as he prepares to make the long haul from his Ironton, Minnesota home. "I think we will have a good shot at it, we have had really good cars all year long."

Snyder and teammate, Scott Rueschenberg will make the trip to the famed Show-Me State speed plant with hopes of turning both of their seasons around! Snyder has been itching to get back to racing since the River Run 100 at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, Wisconsin back on June 7th was rained out.

"We were really bummed that LaCrosse got rained out." The 24-year-old continued. "I think we had one of the best cars there because we never put new tires on and were right at the top of the charts all day."

Immediately after the I-70 race, Snyder will then make the long haul to Concord Motorsport Park in Concord, North Carolina to make his first career appearance in the ASALMS Southern Division in their fourth race of the season, the Super Sonic 100. "We're going to head out to Concord after I-70 and see what we can do down there against those guys." Snyder ended.

For the rest of the season, Snyder will steer his familiar Red #88 with a new Chevrolet Impala body carrying sponsorship from Dondelinger Chevrolet as well as Performance Concepts, Jean Ross Eyewear, Elite Care, National Fleet Graphics, Hedman Headers, Shannon's Auto Body, Race Car Help.com, Desert Mountain Medical, M.P.H. Promotions, and Trent Snyder Racing.

Snyder's part-time teammate, Rueschenberg is driving a team car to Snyder's and his #25 Chevrolet Impala will make select appearances this season in both the Northern and Challenge Divisions carrying decals from his own Desert Mountain Medical as well as Elite Care, Breg Incorporated, GAT Racing, M.P.H. Promotions, and Trent Snyder Racing.
